Heya. Yes, It was really cool. 'We' built the entire palace inside an old Soviet concert hall- the place reeked of chemical solvents the entire shoot. I spent most of my time in the art department, but the set was near my home so I'd hang out there and do a little stuff here and there. Mostly I'd hang out with Jim the set painter and was really amazed at his work. He did that huge painting of Henry VII that you see in the film, plus a lot of backgrounds that you see through windows.

I created the deck of cards that Helen Mirren fondles during the movie, and all the other documents that the court uses... except for the big hero documents like the ones that you see really up-close. They didn't put my name on the credits. Stupid art director, it was her fault.
