I have worked closely with the medical community, and Mr. Adams is correct that compassion and love would greatly benefit the medical community at large. But one cannot simply mandate compassion. I don't think the "primary" goal of practicing medicine should be capitalizing on peoples woes.. but with the huge responsibilities they take on, I am not opposed to a system that rewards doctors more-so then others for their labor and their responsibilities. Mr. Adams is essentially opposed to that.
