2009 Leonid Meteor shower time-lapse (11/16-11/17).

Streaks which can be seen early in the evening are from airplanes. Meteors are visible later in the evening after Leo begins to rise, which is about half-way through the video.

If you watch carefully in the lower right corner towards the end of the movie, a very bright Leonid can be seen which leaves a smoke trail. Just before sunrise, the glow of the zodiacal light can also be seen.
