seaweed is very thin "very fragile and delicate" and when you bite into it since the rice is soft, it cracks i mean its like reallly thin paper put a finger in the middle and the whole thing breaks apart. But since you were talking about how it became soft and mushy, its becuz the moisture and steam from the rice can be absorbed by the seaweed and make it soft ^____^

Looks nice, but i don't get one thing. When i see vids of people making riceballs the seaweed at the start is always quite stiff and hard but when they eat it it seems to be soft. Hows that possible?

When the rice is hot and steamy, the seaweed absorbs moisture from it making it soft and flexible.
