I have only been skiing once, next time I go to Austria I am going to try those snow blades, would you recommend them?
I don't know where Obergurgl is, but I go to Wildkogel, it has a 14km sled run!

Snow blades are a lot of fun!! People seem to be wary of trying them out when they're actually quite safe. They don't go as fast as skis because of their short length, but you don't need poles and you're a lot lighter. Backwards is fun too. Do it!
Nearest airport to Obergurgl is Innsbruck.

Good question! Obergurgl in Austria.
Its a really high resort so you're always guaranteed snow during the season. Highly recommended for ski-ing!! although the night life a bit thin for some tastes.
