There is not a BIG differenc between Old Slavonic and Russian... about as much as Shakspearian
English and British or even American today. Slavonic is the root language for Bulgarians, Serbs, Russians and Ukranians. Thank you

This is nor russian language.This is church slavonic = old bulgarian laguage!Russians get the cyrillic and the orthodoxy from the Bulgarians in 10 century.

you do a good job of Otce Nas...but...this is Church Slavonic. Of course what do westerners have to do with the Orthodox Church. My experience is that they want to interpret it in light of their own western 'darkness', having separated themselves ...first officially in 1054 and then, the so-called 'reformation' or schism...more rightly called...!
