In 1985 composer William Goldstein created the first film, TV score, OceanQuest, recorded on a PC, as reported in the Los Angeles Times May 30th 1985. On August 29th he appeared on Entertainment Tonight! Months later CBS Masterworks (now Sony BMG Masterworks) released the soundtrack as Oceanscape.

Congratulations, William - you're the pioneer! And nowadays - when we are looking at those previous-millenium scores - we understand how enormous the technological leap is! And the music still sounds charming!
