Didn't see anyone answer the 'where's the ink and the rollers?' It's easy ... they are 'scoring' ... using a perforating rule in the chase instead of type ... they don't want the rule to 'print'' and be seen ... they want it to create a perforation so they can fold the tents and have them look nice. No rollers simply because the perforating rule would eat the rollers up ... and the rollers are expensive. Grew up in a little print shop that had a 7 x 11 Gordon Jobber - it was electrified.

It's a nice gordon press, but where's the ink and the rollers? Why are they pretending to print? btw if you're near Md. and want a nice gordon press, there is one on ebay now that is a beauty...

nice......two ladies printing on a letterpress and a guitarist playing by the side........this printing machine is very interesting.....maybe id get myself one in the future..............fearfully there may be none in the future

just bought a house a couple months ago!!! and i found this machine in the basement... its in great condition!!! dont know if to throe it away or not!! or how much it can be sold for!!! or better yet!!! were can i sell it!!

We have a very similar machine in our work which is still used regularly to this day.
It is used exclusively for forme cutting.
It's electrically powered though.

That's a real G. P. Gordon press. Notice the platen is hinged at the bottom and lifted into place for each impression. Must be nice printing to live music.
