From Wikipedia...Where's Poppa? (also titled Going Ape) is a 1970 black comedy film based on the novel by Robert Klane starring George Segal, Ron Leibman and Ruth Gordon. The plot revolves around the troubled relationship between a lawyer son played by Segal and his senile mother played by Gordon. It was directed by Carl Reiner with son Rob Reiner featured in an early performance. This the version with the original ending credits.

Sidney: "I never got flowers from anyone. Such a nice man. A real human being!" Gordon: "Pull over, driver!" Sidney: " A really human being!" (Taxi stops) Gordon: "Get out, Sid!" Sidney: "What?" Gordon: "Said get out!" Sidney: "Would you like a rose?" (Gordon throws bouquet out. Sidney jumps out.) Sidney: "You son of a bitch! Why'd you do it?" (Sidney runs for bouquet and picks it up, then turns to taxi driving off.) Sidney (at peak voice): "I HOPE MOMMA NEVER DIES, YOU PUTZ!" WOW! No.1 line!

Sidney: "It was one of those guys who walks around the park in drag looking or purse snatchers ..."

Gordon: "Couldn't you tell?"

Sidney: "Not right away. It was dark. And I was terribly excited."

2nd gang member: "The guest of honour!"

1st gang member: "That's you, Sidney!"

Sidney: "That's me, Sidney ..."

Gordon: "Mamma, please don't do this!"

Louise: "I think I'd better go!"

Mrs. Hochheiser: "What a tush!"

Gordon: "Please! Louise, don't go!"

Mrs. Hochheiser: "Cover your tush!"

Gladys: "I'm w a r n i n g you, if you go over there ..."

Sidney: "Gladys, if I don't go over there, he'll send her here!"

(Pause)

Gladys: "Don't change. Take a cab. Here's money. Hur-ryy!!"

African-American woman: "Taxi! Taxi!"

(Several taxis drive by. Sidney in Gorilla outfit appears. Taxi stops. Sidney gets in. Taxi drives off.)

African-American woman: "Taxi!"

(Taxis keep driving by.)
