What effort is needed to burn 100 calories, and how much is 100 calories anyway? This movie uses an indoor rower to illustrate the effort.
The movie wishes to inspire a conscious decision of what food one wants to eat and how which effort one wants to take to burn it off. The conclusion is: Better don't gain it in the first place. Then there is no need for crash diets and short bursts of extreme sport. In finding a regular sport one really likes and in getting some kitchen skills into gear, one can avoid the whole hassle for good.

BTW: The average daily calorie need for a woman is 2000, for a man 2300.
Hmm,... I really need to review my rowing style. It's not too bad, but not really good either. One can tell that I have lazy legs, trying to compensate with the back.
Loads of hard work ahead for rowing marathon in October...!
