Experience VS hype?

John Hathaway is an English mixed martial artist. He competes in the Welterweight division. He made his UFC debut by defeating Tom Egan at UFC 93.
Formerly an open-side flanker for local rugby team Hove RFC, Hathaway decided to make the transition to mixed martial arts after watching the Ultimate Fighting championship on television. He made his professional MMA debut on the 25th June 2006, defeating his opponent via rear naked choke in the first round.
John Hathaway currently trains at London Shootfighters in London. Hathaway also trained in the US with American Top Team and 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu.

Versus

Michael Wayne Pyle (born September 18, 1975) is an American mixed martial artist (MMA).
Mike Pyle grew up in Dresden, Tennessee. At age 17 he moved to Birmingham, Alabama. It was there that he began studying Taekwondo.
Mike searched for any instructional videos for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu he could get his hands on and attended seminars put together by the Gracies whenever they were close enough for him to make the drive. Despite having no formal Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, Mike would go on to be a successful submission grappler in mixed martial arts, the large majority of his wins coming by submission.

  • Great fight review. Great fight and fun to watch, I'm slightly surprised the ref didn't stop the match in the second round with Hathaway trapped like that for such a long period of time. When fighters get stuck in the crucifix the fight is called and although there was some jostling it was clear Hathaway wouldn't be getting out of it.

I was wondering if you would do a video on the Kongo fight and his repeated cheating resulting in a draw.

  • @realmusikforya There are adblockers.

  • Hathaway did well to hold on in the 2nd round. His head was purple. The crowd rightly give him a massive round of applause for hanging on in there. Full credit to Pyle, he fought a good fight.

  • @MRALLAN18 I dont know how good he is at fighting wrestlers but Gsp is gonna do what he always does!!!

  • @realmusikforya there are many other sites out there, the only thing they dont have that youtube has is that everyone is on here.

  • fuck youtube and its fucking commercials. arent there alternative sites out there?

  • @Wangtime1 Condit would fight GSP , a member of his own camp. I know it should n't mean anything but i think thats disrespectfull to GSP . wonder how he is gona respond

  • @CavemanJesus4Life I couldnt agree more! I was suprised he knocked Hardy out cause he couldnt knock out Kampmann to save his life! Greg Jacksons camp is full of Beasts!!

  • hathaway is more athletic than pyle but pyle's technique is just too good. However, I think that if hathaway had come out with the same intensity that he did against Jack Mason and Tom Egan things would have ended differently.

  • i loved when mike had john locked up in the submission and was pounding on his face half a round lol, john didnt look like he liked that alot
