My toilet works much better than this. Of course, by "toilet" I mean "soup ladle" and by "works much better" I mean "I fling it into my neighbor's yard."

@Rokkiteer I use one at my cottage. It was not practical to construct a proper drainage bed for a septic tank, as we are on Canadian Shield rock. The toilet can be used in the winter time after the plumbing has been drained. Cheaper alternative to using a flush toilet in this situation. Works as designed, composting toilets need warm climate to work effectively.

They are used on boats, we have one on the boat I work on. They actually work very well. If you run out of the official bowl liners, newspaper works.

To all of the negative people, saying it's no good:

This toilet is obviously meant for a place that don't have access to a sewer, as it doesn't use any water at all. It might be good on a ship that can't flush into the water or in the mountains, where composting the feces isn't possible.

The demonstration doesn't take place in a home.
