@tennisguyADNA Do you know why the Backhanded chop is illegal in Boxing??? Its one of the most powerful movements in the Human body. It can kill someone. swing your arm , and see how that motion can be more power then swinging on your forehand side. So if you have a great slice or solid one handed BH technique, you can counter the topspin and hit power back. Steffi Graf, Novotna, Schiavone, NCAA champ Riza Zalameda who is 5 foot 4, Laver, Kuerten, Blake, sampras, Fed, Lendl,Becker, stich
@HawaiiProTennis tayvia is a very talented player, highly ranked in the nation. but we're talking about kids like bjorn who are trying to be top in the world. also, giving a girl a one-handed backhand is very risky. players will abuse that backhand with heavy topspin. girls need to be very strong, like justine, to have one-handers.
@gallo252525 you will be happy to know i got tons of 10 and 11 year old kids with one hand backhands, slice, drop shots, interactive players. search tayvia yamagata or check out my youtube page. good comments mate!!
he plays great but what i find real sad is that tennis is standardizeing more and more, everybody play two hands bh and only spin fh,its so hard to see any kind of variation. Even more sad is that also from young hopes come nothing new. Roger Federer is the last of an ancient breed, he doesn't play anymore a totally winning tennis especially against new standards, still he's one of the last man standings still playing tennis as an art, others are just performeing a sport imho
i know this guy and his dad since he was 5. He will be great. work ethic and professionalism is top notch. only thing technically is he would get more power if he finished a little higher on his backhand. (see david ferrer or mardy fish, perfect) Vic Braden says air the armpits and really high elbows. he will get even more drive if he lengthens out that backhand. Bjorn will be top in world cause thats his goal
@knaankos I'd have to disagree. He can always add more spin, more power, etc... top juniors are always improving. that's why they're at the top in the first place.
what racket does he use? i know its a tecnifibre, but it's hard to tell from here. looks very solid.
