@purpsmur lmaoo I was just thinking that

i love micheal but the difference in a man singing this song and a boy singing it is so evident in this track.

If memory serves, this was from a record called "Motown Sings Motown Treasures." Essentially, Barry Gordy, etc. would spend quite a bit of time trying to match the right song to the right artist. Regardless, this is a fantastic version of this song - where MJ's sounds innocent, DR's version sounds like a guy who's lived quite a bit. Both versions are fantastic.

1970 soooo soulful

From what year is this great version?

Bluesmen 88, no disrespect, but you are in denial if you think that he would of received the success he really wanted, that wasn't MOtown's style. David is just like anyone else when it comes to wanting to know how much money he was making. Berry Gordy screwed over alot of artists, and alot of them took the abuse. David was just one of those guys that wouldn't do it, to be honest with you I wouldn't of done it either. When it comes to my money I'm the same way or probably worse, thats real.

If he slowed this song down it would kill.

dude need some chapstick
-
but nobody can do it like mike
you can not compare them to each other because david was at this time a grown man and sing this amazing but mike was 10/11 when he record this and dance on this. Why must everybody discuss about who's the best?? I mean listen just to the music because that uis great and if you don't like it why are you listen to this. I love mike's version but that from david to. It's so different singers to compared that
