Goldeneye 007 - Control Agent 4:01

Goldeneye 007 N64 - Control Agent done in 4:01 by me, Eddie Lovins, 3 seconds short of world record at www.the-elite.net , the Goldeneye World Rankings.

Not a new PR. I got this back in late 2007 and recently noticed I never put it on here. Good run except screwing up that one drone, delaying Natalya from starting her work by a second, meh.

The first message in the control room, because sometimes she's slow from when you "pick her up" to getting down there and starting. And you want to enter the lift around 18 seconds after her "good luck james" message disappears. 16-17 is impossible (literally) so wait an extra second or so.

Do you mean the first message on the computer in the first room or the control room? I don't think it's the escape that is a problem. Sometimes i enter the elevator 16 - 17 seconds after the message for a A failed, but the maximum time is 4:07. It must be something from the time i pick up Nat and when she finnish her work. But anyway, Thanks for helping me out.

There is nothing you can do to make her decay the satellite quicker. Control is a complicated level and tough to help you without a video. You should judge your speed by the music at which she says her first message at the computer, since sometimes she's slower getting down there. Also, are you waiting for her to escape at the end to go into the lift? On this run I waited 18 seconds after her last message to go in (17 is the fastest possible).

My run was 3 seconds slower than yours when i approached Natalya (I can hear it by the music) But i ALWAYS end up with 4:08. Is there anything you got to do to speed up Natalyas work?

Just a 13-second difference actually; 3:58 vs. 4:11.

Very impressive. There must be a huge discrepancy between the Agent and 00 Agent records for this level as completing Control on 00 is a chore in itself let alone going for speed.
