On April 14, the Drew Fuller from Lifetime's Army Wives took a break from his role and helped the Red Cross provide food and drinks to approximately 5,000 soldiers and their families at the deployment ceremony for the 30th Heavy Combat Brigade Team of the North Carolina National Guard in Fayetteville, NC.

My husband was in this group that deployed in April. It was great to have two of the actors from Army Wives there...another reason to love the show.

My husband was a part of that unit deploying there, and he said that both he and the major from Army Wives were humble and greatful to be able to help out the soldiers in any way they can! That's very awesome, I wish more actors had that kind of patriotism
