If you think America's inability to effectively address its problem with uninsured is insolvable, think again.

You're 100% correct. Liberals fail to see that education starts in the family. The government can't fix stupid people. Stupid people, in turn, raise stupid kids.

  • Most people do choose whether or not to be insured. Most people dont need the luxuries we are spoiled with as Americans. If we taught personal responsiblilty instead of entitlement, we would be much better off.

  • @whoo689 , this is posted in 2006. Anyway, look behind the numbers, not only at them. ou are missing the point altogether. In Europe taxes guarantee EVERYONE gets equal treatment in the hospoital. ANd you never have a copay.

  • Wow, statistics! He must be telling the truth! Nobody makes up statistics!!

  • All is well, no need to change anything, go back to sleep.

  • Are you saying that if you lose your job and your insurance and get sick, you should die because you didn't take "personal responsibility?" Be careful what you say! Should the uninsured not go to the emergency room because they are not responsible?

  • I don't where this guy gets his bullshit. 53% of the 46 million are NOT 200% below the poverty line. I don't know where he got that idea. All the sources I've looked at that break down the number do not go anywhere near 23 million. They say, at best, 13.4 million of those 46 million can't afford it under their current incomes no matter what.

7-10 million illegals?? what? No! It's 12-20 million, you dolt. Who the hell says only 7-10 million?

  • Milton Friedman is dead...and his delirius neoliberalism is dying too!

  • LOL... this video seems so out of touch with reality it's barely worth a comment. I was waiting for the sales pitch the entire time.

  • I make $45000 a year have a masters degree and do not have affordable health insurance available. I have 3 children all covered by their father. I lost my health insurance when he chose to leave and file for divorce. Your numbers are skewed because I am lucky with gas & milk at $3.00/gallon to pay for basic needs with that income. The average working joe is barely surviving and able to cover basic needs let alone $800-1000/month for health insurance.
