Ya some people are just never satisfied enough by movies. I have 1 or 2 friends like that. And they are fucking annoying haha. But ya you can hate anything you want .

But a lot of people did love the movie and it sold very well in theater and on blu ray.

And yes of course there is people that hate it.

Why do keep saying it like creativity and continuity are incompatible with each other? The Dark Knight followed up what the closing of Batman Begins anticipates whats going to happen, keeping continuity, while still taking quantum leaps with story and characters beyond imagining.

Just like T2 did over the little hit film T1

Alright I do admit I have frustratingly too high of expectations at times that self-inflict disappointment in me, but still...

I don't hate it, it's just lackluster to me.

HA explain to me why the first 2 where inventive. You clearly dont get it. Its trying to continue the story. Its not like a fucking re make or something. People just bitch about everything these days hate everything.

Thinking about THIS movie that's out coming CURRENTLY.

Are you saying you don't want films to be inventive? That the same creativity that made the first two Terminators classics shouldn't be used here?

And are suggesting they are deliberately slacking off and not trying is justifiable?

That's like George Lucas advertising SW 1&2

The thing about it not being the future he was warned about. You find out about that in the next one. Its a teaser to get you thinking. Because there is a twist in the story.

And whats your problem with the story not being inventive,. Its not meant to be inventive. Its meant to follow the story of the terminator. And this is one step farther with the machines taking over.

T5 has a twist in whats happening. You will see and prob make sense of your lame complaint.

I hated it my first time seeing it, i learned to like it my second time seeing it, and i firmly belive its 100x better than T3, but they certainly failed at blowing me away like I had hoped. Lets hope the R rated version coming out on Blue Ray will perhaps save its soul

WHY MENTION SOMETHING IN YOUR TRAILERS...

(ESPECIALLY WHAT SOUNDS LIKE THE ENTIRE CENTER OF THE PLOT)

...IF IT WILL NEVER BE UTTER NOT EVEN A SINGLE WORD IN THE FILM????????

They could have done something with that and triple the thrill factor with the entire "Alternate Future" concept. But they didn't.

By the constant mentioning of an "Alternate Future" I thought this would be fantastic.

I was thinking. Wow. That'll mean they have more advanced machines. But most interesting, they'll have more knowledge of things. I was hoping for something like SkyNet has knowledge from the "Original Future" so it now knows what to do to win this war easier.

While in this film, Marcus turns of the Base's Defense Grid and they didn't even bother to turn it back on and let the resistance walk over them.
