Interview of Migrant Worker in Shanghai - Dream Corps UVa

About This Video:

Betty Xiong and Chen Kong, 2 students from Dream Corps Chapter at University of Virginia, conducted an interview with a migrant worker from Guizhou who was working on a bridge-building project in downtown Shanghai this June, 2008.

The interviewers asked about his children's education, he and his wife's living condition as migrant workers in Shanghai, and also the living condition of his other family members at hometown village.

Both Betty and Chen spent a day talking with the migrant workers on the construction site, eating lunch with them, and finally two of the workers agreed to let the students record a video of the interviews conducted with them.

This is one clip that was recorded on the bridge.
