I think I love you man!

The traditional 4 year college is complete bs and a scam. Especially the first two years when your core classes have nothing to do with your major. Trade or vocational schools are a good deal, especially if they help u find employment. But unfortunetely most employers want that degree. I know this from experience.

@FreddiesModernKungFu come on sports is different, YOU HAVE to prove youself through actions to achieve!
I agree with you 100% but the educational system is like a stepping stone. IT 100% Helps. People like bill gates, michael Jordan or whoever.. they are lucky! Becuase there are AMAZING PEOPLE out there who can acually make a change in the world and achieve greatness. But they aint as fortunate to make it in this world.

that piece of paper was gained by your actions. so in a way it does prove what your capable of, but to a certain extent.
But not everyone in the world would be gifted like albert einstein. so normal people like me have to play by the rules of this shit system..
for an example your qualifed for many things right.. what if i aplied for a job postion you also aplied for? But i was equally, OR even better than you but dont have qualifications? You would most likely get that job.

10/5 agree agree agreed credit sux! why can't it be like the old days where people gather in different age groups and teach one another etc... the education doesn't have to be payed for we all could be successful without college and without that high pay
If your an employer, your gonna look at the persons achievements. a degree will be solid proof to back what your capable off.
If you was a person with no certifcates or degree etc etc BUT you was the smartest man in the world then your chances would be very low as you cannot prove what your capable off.

A piece of paper does not prove that you are capable, your actions prove it. Though this society is revolved around certifications in which to give back to the system to keep the economy going. An innovator a creator does not need a degree to prove anything, he simply expresses his innovation and creation and there will be beauty. Albert Einstein is born a genius, and there will never be another Albert Einstein no matter how many degrees a person obtains.

Michael Jordon worked hard towards his talent of being a great basketball, there is no degree that can ever certify someone to be a great basketball player like him. It is pure talent, skill, dedication, hard work. There are creators and there are immitators. If you are a creator, you don't need to pay for a degree you create degrees. Bill Gates was a creator, he did not need a degree to be a billionaire. Entraprenuers create, college graduates begging for jobs follow.
