  • Yields for Elephant Garlic are not greater than that of normal garlic simply due to the size of the cloves and spacing required. We have around 80,000 plants in a 6 acre plot , so just under 14,000 plants per acre. This is approximate as depending on the size of the cloves planted which can obvious increase / decrease plant population.

    very interesting! i would be grateful if you could give me an idea of the yields per acre for elephant garlic. is it true that they are much higher than for standard garlic?
