mkII fisheye mod test w/ vx2000

PLEASE DONT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT STEADY SHOT. heres the deal, i took a vx2000 my mk2 (which has no vig so theres no need to turn off steady shot!!) and put the little lens into the back of the mk2, which made alot of vig, ive never had to turn off steady shot so IM SORRY! haha (: and if you want a good lens my advice is a mk1. or mod a mk2 like this, which from personal expirence id say is wider than a mk1. thanks

better way to mod a mk2 would to be get 82-72mm step down ring a 72-82mm step up ring and a 58-72mm step up ring take off the bayomount and boom wider.

if you want it to be even wider than that take off the 58-72ring and put the bayo back on. and its wider i think than an mk1.

@devinwatterson its ok for a special effect or a different look, but through the whole video is completely wrong. FYI to everyone who mods a regular lens to become a fisheye. The lens usually has 3 parts, the 2 outer and one in the centre. These lenses are calibrated with a computer and if any part of a lens is adjusted, the lens cannot be used as a regular lens again, at least it cannot be zoomed in or you will get frosted edges. I learned that the hard way.
