  • excuse me man but when i point the mouse to your HD video button there is no option that you can choose 720p or 1080p when i watch the other videos there is an options 1080 and 720 but your video shows only HD no other options which means it's only HD 720p pls explain if your video are still encoding by YouTube

  • HD could be either 1080p or 720p now. Just because you can't choose which one it is, doesn't mean there's no such thing as 1080p on YT. Pull it from your cache to confirm if you don't believe me. I'm not talking out of my colon.

  • oh wow, you can see your backround in more clarity than ever before

  • I guess I should have done a better job on my background then...

  • Why are you wearing sun glasses!? ok... A) your inside B) your back drop is at night! SRSLY WHAT THE HELL!?

  • @Zeldagigafan90210 My resolution is 16:9 :p

  • @DerekForPresident Thanks.

  • when the camera's come out, there are going to be videos shot in a 16:9 1440p, or 2160p.

  • @sesestro you might need to update your flash player.

  • I have a bandwidth and upload speed limit, so I need to know. :D

  • I was wondering if there are any codecs like the x264vfw AVI codec that will allow you to compress videos at low bitrates (2000-4000kbit/s) and still have good quality?

Most codecs and file formats seem to only have good quality if the bitrate is set to (6000-99999kbit/s). It looks like mp4/WMV/mpg/mt2s/mov need those kind of high bitrates for some reason.

  • Set the resolution to 1920x1080 when you are finalizing your video

  • @DerekForPresident

    thanks lol

Its usually alot quicker using .wmv format compared to using .mov format i found it less than half the size but still have'nt found a way to produce it as a 1080p yet!

  • A 1920x1080 video has 27 times more pixels than a 320x240 video, so it's 27 times the CPU drain! I suppose you could use a lower framerate, or just stick to 720p for now. Give it four years, and it'll be a cinch.
