The riff that started it all? Or not. Varg/Fenriz.... none of them even listened to Venom until the late 90's. Try Bathory, or Celtic frost... if you said that started it all you wouldn't be far off. Nontheless, great video. Hails.

Gorgoroth's Under the sign of Hell has some of best black metal riffs in my opinion. Check out Funeral Procession.
