May God grant us beneficial knowledge and guide us. And I advice myself foirst of all and advice you kindly from the heart oh reader and commenter to be careful next time in reagards to speaking about something that you may be unsure about and return to the people of knowledge if your able to; like a trustworthy Imaam of your local Mosque. So we can prevent confusion to spread excpecially about the Quran.

I am a Quran teacher that has an authentic chain transmitted to the Messenger for the 10 recitations and read the Quran in 10 different ways upon a Quran Scholar in Egypt, Cairo whom read it upon a Person that read it upon a person until it reached the Messenger; an unbroken authentic chain.
And I hope this has made things clear; the reason for this misunderstanding is due to the knowledge of the different recitations isnt spread amongst the west as in comparison to the Middle East.

In response to Shafi 94 comment:
The recitation called: Hafs reads this word as libith't لبثت (with thaa i.e: th)
but in recitation of ibn thikwaan the letter thaa is emerged (Idhgaam) into the letter Taa (i.e.: the last 't' at the end of the word) for it to become one letter. And the meaning remains the same. This is how one group of the Arabis used to utter this word, so Allaah revealed it in there dialect to make it easy for them.

This Sheikh is the Imaam of the biggest Mosque in Morocco & has recited the Quran upon many Scholars & has an Authentic Quran chain transmitted to the Messenger for the 10 different recitations.
And the recitation He is reading is
Number 4 on the list:
"Ibn Thikwaan upon His Sheikh Ibn Aamar"
-
Section 3: (Im going to list the 10 recitations) 1:Qaloon & Warsh upon Naafi 2: Al-Bizzi & Qunbul upon Ibn Katheer 3: Al-Durri & Al-Sussi upon Abu Amar 4:Hishaam and Ibn Thikwaan upon Ibn Aamar 5: Shuba & Hafs upon Aasim (which is the most familiar recititaion that is known and read in the world) 6: Khalaf & Khallad upon Hamza 7: Al-Layth & Al-Durri upon Al-Kisaa'ee 8: Ibn Wirdaan & Ibn Jumaaz upon Abu Jafar 9: Ruwais & Rooh upon Yaqoob 10: Ishaaq & Idrees upon Khalaf
-
Section 2:
The Quran was revealed upon the Messenger in many different ways of reading it -as I mentioned- and what has reached us to this day with an authentic chain transmitted to the Messenger are 10 different recitations, which where named after the Recitors of there time whom specialsed and perfected the recitation between the
1st and 2nd decade after the death Messenger. Because when the Quran was revelaed; every particular recitation didn;t have a name; it was named after.

The answer to why does the way he is reading sound different?
section:1
The Quran was revealed upon the Prophet -peace be upon him- In the language of the Arabs; with there different dialects from eachother. It would be hard for them to change the way they utter a word by learning, ecspecially old women & men or an illeterate person that cant read or write. So by Allah's Mercy He revealed the Quran in different ways to recite it; to easen for the Ummah to recite & memorise the Quran.

Assalam-u-Alaikum,
He has authorization if the recitations of the Quran, which are more than one. He is not reading it wrong. He is a famous Qari. Let us not speak with out knowledge.
