  • Likely a take on "Minnie the Moocher" an old jazz standard back to the 20's

  • Anyone know the name of the head (obviously Bud wrote it) that he plays on the out chorus? I'd say he was Parker's equal. The only piano player who could play Monk's music better than Monk! Plus, he created his own be-bop lexicon, nobody had played anything like this before, except maybe Bird.

  • バップピアノジャズの原点であり頂点!

  • バップピアノの原点であり、頂点。

  • This is Bud in his prime! When they were saying he could play Charlie Parker better than Charlie Parker.I don't know about that, but was as Dizzy Gillespie stated sure could feel it up in 8 bars.

  • One of my all-time favorite performances. Tatumesque in it's jaw-dropping brilliance and speed. Love the Max solo at the end! Pure magic!!

  • This is just Fantastic!!!! Bud was one of the greatest musicians thorugh the history of all music!
