  • 7 years... I am so sorry. My heart breaks for you.

I lost my son at 12 weeks. Not the same I know... but my heart hurts often for what I do not have with me... he would be about 6 months old.

I hope you are able to have a healthy pregnancy and baby soon.

Sweet dreams to your baby angels. . .

I understand not following so closely your diet or herb regimen.

We are also started an adoption process... we are hoping to have the chance to be both biological and adoptive parents.

  • I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you can also achieve your dream of becoming a mom real soon! Thank you for all your positive thoughts.

  • Thank you for your words of hope. I am also sorry to hear about your angel baby. I know exactly what you mean about it feeling like it happened yesterday. I pray that God blesses you with a baby soon!

  • Thank you so much for the information on iron intake. I wonder what your doctor has to say about it. Just checked my prenatal vitamin and it has 60mg of iron in it so that might be the right dose. Hope everything goes well at your appointment.

  • Hi Michelle

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for almost 5 years. We went through several cycles of unsuccessful IUI. I was told I also had low progesterone and low iron. I know this is probable going to sound crazy, it did to me the first couple of times I heard it. But I finally decided to give the "old wife's tale" of Geritol a try. I began taking the Geritol tonic and I got pregnant my first cycle of taking it.

Good luck to you on your journey.

  • Hi there! I had to google Geritol because it sounded familiar but I didn't really know what it was. Except for the low progesterone I am not aware that I have an iron deficiency. I did have low iron when I was pregnant the first time during my first trimester. Were you taking just the geritol or did you also take a prenatal too? Wouldn't that have enough iron in it? It would be really cool if all I needed was a Geritol tonic to conceive. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

  • So sorry to hear about your loss. I can identify the pain. I lost my daughter at 22 weeks due to preterm labor. Even though its been 10mth it feels like yesterday. I hope and pray that you become a mother soon. Me and my hubby have been ttc for almost 9 mths.

  • The prenatal vitamin I was taking only had 20mg of iron. In all the information I was reading said I should be getting 30mg of iron when TTC. My prenatal vitamin required 2 per day, I cut back to 1 per day when I begin taking the Geritol, which now gives me 28mg of iron in supplements. I'm still taking the Geritol, I'm now 8 weeks pregnant. I have my first Dr appt today, I will see what she has to say about it.

  • Thank you for your sympathy and well wishes. Hope you get your BFP (big fat positive pregnancy test)real soon!
