Why Don't They Just Put ALL The Blu-ray Extras on the DVD Version???

Anyone who syas that there is no difference between Blu-Ray and DVD is an idiot. Of course Blu-Ray looks better, but it is still not as staggering a difference as it was when comparing VHS to DVD, that was the beiggest jump of them all. Plus, only some movies benefit from hi-def. A comedy doesn't need 1080p. But a sci-fi looks pretty nice. Something tells me that DVD and Blu-Ray will be co-existing for a long time. Could be wrong though.

"Widescreen is being rammed down our throats" To people who believe that, seriously have you even seen what a lot of this new content looks like.By the time we changed to the 16:9 aspect ratio, nearly everything was being displayed in 16:9.Honestly,I think watching a movie or playing a game in 16:9 looks way better, because I can see more on screen. Not mention,in 16:9 you have a wider, more realistic viewing angle.

Blu-ray Discs have 50 GB, and DVD's are at maximum 8GB

good point .but what about the things that could easily fit on a dvd. just some examples are -
1.close encounters-dvd is missing the deleted scenes but they are on the blue ray.
2. percy jackson- dvd has 6 deleted scenes while the blue ray has 14 plus 2 extra making of' specials.
b**chslap-blue ray has 3 extra making of programs and 20 minutes of deleted scenes. plus only canida got the blue ray.
$to many dvd to0 mention that have nothing but the movie-or just trailers under extras

@Zaranyzerak okay thank you :) ill go out and buy a blu ray movie today and see how it is, and if i ever upgrade tv size ill be glad to have blu ray even more.
i only have a 32" tv, is blu ray worth it with my tv size? i heard theres not much difference under 40"

@MrFaulconbridge It's still worth it with a TV that size. You'll see a huge improvement between 480 (DVD) and 1080 (Blu-ray). Where you won't see much difference is between 720 and 1080. A lot of my friends have HDTVs around that size and they say that there's definitely a noticeable difference. you just won't see all the super fine detail, but you'll see an improvement in picture clarity for sure.

you remind me of Glenn Beck. In the way that you seem like you're going to blow a neck gasket when you get too fired up about something that really isn't that important

@Zaranyzerak WHERE IS PART 2 AND WHAT IS IT CALLED?

@optimegatrongodzilla The next part is always linked as a video response. Look at eh video responses, it's right there. Also, I have all of the HD Rants organized chronologically on a playlist on my main channel page. Check the playlist, and you'll know what order they go in and whether you've missed any.
