This is the introduction of the 1946 version of The Killers directed by Richard Siodmak. The move from the grey films of the proto-noirs in the late 1930s to the black and white of the 1940s noir is pronounced here. Not to mention the unrestrained brutality of the opening scene, only part of which is captured here. Find this film, it is a must see.
