Yakima RACKandROLL Trailer review video & demo by ORS Racks Direct. Demonstration movie of the Yakima Racks RACK and ROLL Trailers showing features that include compatibility with any class trailer hitch receiver (includes 1-7/8" coupler to fit standard 1-7/8" ball mounted to any 1-1/4" or 2" receiver hitch; also available as optional accessory is 2" coupler), beautiful design styling and superb smooth rolling even on bumpy roads, very light-weight, so you can easily tow with any car or truck, even today's smallest, most fuel efficient, compact cars. Available in two versions with either 78" crossbars or 66" crossbars, the Yakima RACK and ROLL trailer offers the convenience of loading luggage, bikes, canoes, kayaks and other gear at a low-level near to the ground. The tow trailer eliminates hassles of loading boats and equipment up onto a car roof rack. Simply attach any canoe racks, kayak racks, bike racks, cargo boxes and more right to the pair of included crossbars. The 78" RACKandROLL trailer model carries up to 300 lbs and the 66" RACKandROLL trailer holds up to 250 lbs (optional heavy-duty shocks allow for transport of additional 50 lbs.) Stores very quickly and compactly. Arrives via regular shipping and includes easy instructions for quick assembly. Several RACK and ROLL Trailer accessories also available, including spare tire, tongue extension to allow for 22 ft. boats (regular tongue allows for up to 17 ft. boat), 2 inch coupler, heavy-duty shocks and more.

  • Why didn't he just put all that stuff on the tundra? defeats the purpose of having a truck.

  • I use my Yakima Rack and Roll (HumblePower $1755) for my wooden kayaks. Pricey ...but very well made

  • if you don't like this, then don't get it

  • Might have been mpressed if you were driving a Prius

  • How much for these trailer's and are they in Australia.

  • @xb21BASS

Because its easier to use what he has now and make this video? I think your missing point. LOL

  • We have owned this trailer for almost two years now and love it.

The only downside is people stopping us all the time asking about it.

I put up a little page showing ours with our kayaks and bikes on it.

  • I have a compact car and I'm looking for a way to haul 2 recumbent tricycles. This looks like the ideal solution. The only issue is that it's a bit pricey.

    Thanks for posting this review.

  • it is easier for me to load three kayaks on my truck than to need to find a place to stick a trailer when I'm done.IMO if you are not strong enough to load a kayak on a vehicle maybe you should not be on the water(??)It is a cool trailer...the thing I do not like about trailers is that...they are trailers! one more thing to have to deal with. Cool that it folds-but do I want my garage to be crowded with a trailer 99% of the time with a trailer I'd use 1% of the time? I'll keep DIY truck rack !
