Concorde had a serious design flaw, its rear landing gear were located in the wings, not in the engine nacelles. This made the plane vulnerable to wing and fuel tank damage from exploding tires, which occurred fairly often due to the high takeoff and landing speeds. The Soviets originally had the same flaw in the Tu-144 but later production models had the landing gear in the engine nacelles.

@supersaintsfan31 a pice of metal on the ground ripped one of the huge tires and a pice of that tire struck the engine, some minutes later the engine burst into flames and crashed on a small hotell. Fully fueled. No one survived :/
