One of our favorite songs with images of the boys. We try to show that there is a great deal more to going through chemotherapy and limb salvage surgery than pain and discomfort. Above all Ben has managed to face this with grace and humor. Realizing that the "rest is still unwritten" and we all "need to release our inhibitions."

Please enjoy this video and the spirit with which it was created. Ben was diagnosed with Stage 3 High grade osteogenic sarcoma on September 25th, 2006. He underwent limb salvage surgery in April of 2007. Over 80% of his right upper arm bone was replaced with a donor bone at that time. All of the footage was shot after that surgery and most of it within the month of it's original posting. Thank you for watching.

Ben's journey on earth ended on 10/12/2009 a little after 6 pm. We miss him so much.

  • Emma, Thank you for your kind words. We will keep your family in our prayers. The Green Drakkoman is on your side.

  • Awesome to see Ben bouncing around despite everything that's going on--he must have an awesome group of people that love him and support him very much! :) Show that Evil Alien no mercy!

  • That support includes you Mel...Thank you :)

  • I was a counselor at Double H Ranch for the summers from 2002 - 2005, and was just on youtube looking for some encourragement and typed in double h ranch, only to find your amazing son! He is such a character! We just had a baby boy, and we are so blessed too!

  • Your son is an inspiration! Despite the fact he has such a heartbreaking condition this video made me smile to see him playing around like a regular kid. One of my sisters friends has osteosarcoma. Ill be praying for Ben and your family!
