This is probaby my favorite "Analog Age" cartoon. Reminds me of that scene from "Birds Anonymous" where Sylvester is lying in different positions. Your drawing style is very fun and I love the punchline!

I wouldn't eat that soup, either. It's all orangey! Yeccch.
Also, my sister did this most often. My dad was so desperate to get her to eat a shrimp, he offered her a pink Corvette! We still mention that Corvette, and my sister STILL won't eat any shrimp!
