  • im about to learn isshinryu karate soon. im so excited!

  • I love seisan. Its one of my favorite katas. (Chinto being my first) I just got my first degree black belt in Issinryu and Im only 15. Practice the basics, and you can go on to greater things. Good job.

  • @xCrownedhopeless This is not a forum it is a video of a proud parents child. I give my praise to him everyday and he knows of my pride without having to read it online.

Thank you for not replying again.

  • @rmham120

So, because I don't have my own school, nor children, it means I can't give criticism or opinion on an open forum? That's a pretty narrow mentality. As far as not having anything nice to say, that's pretty interesting considering you aren't saying anything nice and still posting yourself. You shouldn't preach if you don't practice, know what I mean? :) I'm done responding here, good luck with future videos.

P.S. Something important in martial arts, learn humility.

  • @xCrownedhopeless It may be too late in life but a valuable lesson you should have been taught as a child... If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

By the way, I was looking for your "two forms" and all i can find is your two videos. Where are the ones of your child or students? Just sayin'

  • @USAWKC Thank you for your support. Some people are quick to judge those and they have nothing better to do then criticize todays youth, staying out of trouble and learning something. Anyone who knows Nathan, knows that it took A LOT MORE than general knowledge of Isshinryu and it's katas to get on that stage.

  • @USAWKC I don't know what the deal is with you guys taking criticism personally. Obviously, you don't know me and you don't have to take my opinion to heart. I do have two forms on here, which are both open to criticism, as long as it's constructive. I didn't say the kid was bad, and again, repeating myself, I said there's room for improvement. If you can't accept that you aren't always going to get cute points from people, you shouldn't post videos.

  • @xCrownedhopeless Nathan was only a Orange Belt and I'm very proud of him getting in front of his class mates and teachers. Not sure what style your in but this kata's the stances are not that bad for yes a nine year old Orange Belt. Put one of your Kata's on here and let us grade you.

  • @rmham120 It sounds like to me that you're taking criticism personally. I didn't say he did a bad job, I'm saying he has room for improvement. We all do. I did say that I've seen children with better technique, but that's to prove a point. You don't have to be a teen or an adult to do something flawlessly. And, for the record, I'm not ashamed of the fact that I don't let anyone get a by because of their age, gender, or anything else. Not everyone will give you 100% positive feedback.

  • @xCrownedhopeless So you to say "Meh"? Well let me tell ya that for some kids this is a big thing and you should be ashamed of yourself for degrading the abilities of youth.
