Had a chance to get my hands on a ClearStream2 Outdoor Long-Range Digital TV (DTV) Antenna today. This is by far the best antenna I have ever tried..... The build quality is 2nd to none, as is the performance..... Before I swapped out my antenna I had a total of 21 TV channels, as soon as I added this antenna (And re-scanned) I was up to 30 channels. Many I had never seen here in the south east metro area. This is a UHF/VHF antenna, very important here in the Twin Cities as both Channel 11 and 9 are still broadcasting in VHF and channel 11 is very low powered.

I have tried quite a few off antennas in the last few years and this is without a doubt the answer to long range UHF/VHF reception in the Twin Cities. This antenna can be pointed right between the Shoreview and St Cloud towers to catch both directions. This was tough with other UHF only antennas as you had to aim the antenna very accurately to max the signal on the VHF stations, as well as the few Analog channels still broadcasting here. WELL worth the investment and its certainly a total solution in this and I would guess any metro area and beyond, up to 50 miles!

When I first scanned with the CS2 I was immediately impressed, at last a stable picture on the hard to get (From here) Qubo channel! Most all my signal strengths are off the scale at 100%

I can't see this antenna being beat anytime soon for value for money. There is nothing quite like a REAL HD picture coming from off air. It beats satellite and cable every time. Unlike cable and satellite TV the signals are uncompressed and 1st generation.

There really has never been a better time to ditch pay TV. Its a no brainer to me. Off-air, FTA satellite and internet TV (Hooked directly to an HD TV) is all the TV a person could ever need, and its Free. With this antenna you will have better than cable an satellite dependability of signal, that's for sure! When the cable or satellite goes out there will always be OTA channels, loud and proud. ANTENNAS AINT DEAD YET and the CS2 proves that, all available channels. ALL the time!

I have used the DB4 from the same company in the past with good results, but ch. 9 and 11 were always lower in signal. With this antenna most all the signals are at 100% even here in the S.E. corner of the metro. The best thing about this antenna is the extra channels I had never seen before, or if I had seen them its only been in the north metro closer to the towers.
Yesterday at 5:15pm · LikeUnlike.Psb Satellite There is a whole bunch of religious channels I had never seen before, a few are duplicated on FTA satellite. The St Cloud channels (Qubo) are a lot stronger than I have seen before. I cant wait to swing it round to point to WI. then down to the Rochester towers next.
Yesterday at 5:17pm · LikeUnlike.Psb Satellite I have several off-air antennas here to compare, including the Square shooter by Winegard, as well as their "Batwing antenna" (RV) I am also comparing it to the fractal antenna and "Coathanger" antenna that I have been using for sometime now. Easily the best antenna out the bunch. of course its a nice clear day today, so those 100% will come in handy in damp wet days

  • @edwardwilliams91 I wouldn't reccomend buying one at an actual store. I purchased the clearstream 4 for alot cheaper online through amazon.com. It was $90 with free shipping online and best buy wanted $150 plus tax!

  • So there are towers in the St.Cloud area? We are looking at television and just are opposed to the price of charter tv. Do you know if this picks up a lot of channels in the st.cloud area?

  • Just got one of these off ebay last week and its an excellent antenna. No more signal dropouts.

  • While I know I can type "ClearStream2 Outdoor Long-Range Digital TV (DTV) Antenna" into ebay or google and possibly find it, where can I purchase this via a brick -n- mortar store?
