  • o.o what's the logic in a diesel train going along a line that is electrified

  • @alexnefi The electrification is not commissioned yet.

  • Heh... railfan videos. Gotta love 'em. I've got some on my channel as well. Interesting to see the engines on the rear of the train.

  • @slamdvw push pull services in Auckland. The loco pulls when the train goes back the other way.

  • it's like seeing a streetcar being pulled by a diesel engine.

  • @RODALCO2007 How efficient xD

  • raw power!

  • @SigEpBlue 25 kV AC 50 Hz

  • @SigEpBlue I think it is 5 metersto the wire, max. legal road height is 4.25 meters.

  • Its funny to see a diesel engine on a train like that. It just looks so out of place.

  • @RODALCO2007 (8-0 25kVDC?!? And only five meters above the ground (if I'm interpreting the sign correctly, of course)? Awesome! I wonder what kind of ohmic losses they have had to deal with.

  • i love the sound of a diesel engine.

  • Nice looking loco, reminds me of the old BR Class 20.
