Gianni Romano, Carlo Grieco, and Peppe Folliero are the powerful musical force known under the names of Daddy's Groove and Black Raw, a young talented and amazing trio reigning from Naples, Italy.
In 2006 they joined forces having already gained great experience from DJing throughout the south of Italy, and are already familiar in the Italian club scene. Their popularity means they have already been approached by several major and indie labels such as Warner Music, Border Breakers, Atlantic, Polydor, EMI, Geffen, Parlophone, Axtone, Defected Records, Strictly Rhythm and many more to work on their projects by adding their own special Daddyʼs Groove remixes. They have already done remixes for artists such as Kylie, Whitney Houston, Enrique Iglesias, Nabiha, The Wanted, Axwell, Louie Vega, Prok & Fitch, Cerrone, Atfc, Michael Canitrot, Norman Doray & Tristan Garner, The Shapeshifters, Quentin Harris, Sandy Rivera.
Their DJ experience has allowed them to develop a maverick instinct for Domestic/European productions, which is illustrated throughout their music.
Since 2006 they are around with a few of club tracks as "Rendez Vous", "One Night In Eivissa EP", "Alma Mia (Donʼt Be Afraid)" just to name a few, they got recognition from the best DJs such Pete Tong, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Laidback Luke, Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez and many more.
Then came the opportunity to work on the remix of "Leave The World Behind" for Axwell, Angello, Ingrosso and Laidback Luke and with this started their collaboration with Axwell own label Axtone Records and the Prok & Fitch (best track of WMC 2010) and Axwellʼs "Nothing But Love" remixes.
However, Daddyʼs Groove productions have been coming out since 2009 such "Violin Theme" (with Little Mark), "Bleeding Heart", "Shorebreak" (again with Little Mark), "Kiss My Agony" (with Bob Sinclar), "Sun After The Storm" (with Little Nancy), "We Are In Da House" these are still being spinned by top monsters djs as well as being picked up by club labels such as Axtone, Joia, MOS, Size Records, Defected, Hed Kandi, Strictly Rhythm, Universal UK and Malligator...just to name but a few.
They have started also another parallel project called Black Raw with a short but intense history in tracks like "Jet Lag", "Rock The House Yo", "Circo Nero" and the brand new "Eargasm" already released on Size Records.
Summer 2011 will see the first official release, as Daddyʼs Groove, on Axtone Records!
