Communion is one of those songs that just arrived into Stephens spirit with very little editing needed. The recorded version is as close a rendition as he heard it in a prophetic flow from God whilst praying. A very intimate song, yet big and encompassing with layered washes of strings and haunting soprano sax with a big rock scat outro. A song that cries from Gods heart for closeness with us and to always remember Him. This song has been used by people in many parts of the world in church services, weddings and events. Take this cup Take this bread
This is My body and blood broken and shed for you
Take this cup Take this bread
This is My body and blood broken and shed for you
Do this in remembrance of Me Do this in remembrance of Me
Do this in remembrance of Me
Stand with Me I am with you
I have overcome the world
I pray your faith will be strong
I give you My peace
So take this cup eat My bread
Its My body and blood broken and shed for you
Do this in remembrance of Me Do this in remembrance of Me
Do this in remembrance of Me take this cup
Do this in remembrance of Me Do this in remembrance of Me
Remember Me remember Me..(rpt)

  • This is a great song! I remember when you ministered this song in Perth in '93 or '94. The anointing was so rich and overwelming. Thank you for posting this video.

    Best regards
