I like a good story, but once you get to a certain age I don't see how you can like anime much anymore. Its mostly geared towards perverts or people with low attention spans (children).Every once and awhile you'll get some quality stuff (I thought Death Note's plot was great) but otherwise its hard to find.

@LastRqss I think some are aimed at (non perverted) adults such as Paranoia Agent or Paprika. I would've thought there's as many different genres of anime in Japan as there are regular tv shows in the UK. Like you say it's a story telling medium.

@Kazesai Wow your imature. I obviously know my history better than you. In Japan, it's strange for people to be obsessed with manga. Any where else, it's considered even weirder and maybe even taboo. Obsessions are bad. Do you think that people choose to have OCD? No. It completely dominates their whole life.
