I came upon a nice gentleman fishing on the salmon river with a rod and reel set up I had not ever seen before. Here is the Centerpin method of fishing.

No, a tiny steel is a 'Smolt'.
No, a net can remove scales and slime.
Yes wet your hand, but try and keep the fish in the water as you remove the hook!

Ton's of people fish rate where that guy is, but truth be told, all the fist start out near the lake...
But te water is rougher their, and it makes it easier to hook a fish.

if ya dont want to hurt em you need to use a net and wet your hands first
