So bright and jazzy. A wonderful song.

The Jack Teagarden version of this song is in the dinner scene of the movie "Nothing But Trouble" (1991) where Dan Aykroyd plays a 106-year-old Justice of the Peace.

A great arrangement and well played. An interesting key change for the second half of the chorus when the alto took over from trombone. A pity there wasn't a vocal as I believe this is one of the better tunes of the era.

I believe it's a Great, Great Song!

Was recently in the Edison Hotel. It's doing very well. It's the best Art Deco hotel in Times Square. Wish I could have heard this kind of music live there. Guess we can't have everything. Great video. Thanks for posting.

I have the same song from "Bert Firman & his Rhythmic Eight"

@kaskostl Okay, so I'm not the only one who caught it.

This makes me want to dance.
Great video, Aaron, but lyric should read "heels" where you have "heals."

Thanks. I actually got the lyrics from the internet and copied them straight into the video. Sadly I was too busy syncronizing the words to the music, which made me forget to check the spelling before uploading it.

Who's arrangement is this?
I did a transcription of the Roger Wolfe Khan version that featured an awesome solo by a very young Jack Teagarden. This isn't bad (and an exceptionally clean recording), but I think the Khan version has a more interesting orchestration.

The arranger was Joseph Nussbaum.
