The similarities between Bonkers Bobcat and Roger Rabbit are not a coincidence, Disney actually wanted to turn Roger Rabbit into a cartoon series but the other studios that owned Rodger said no so Disney created Bonkers which is basically Roger Rabbit minus the bits Disney wasn't allowed to use.
