This is a little video for my physics project, a little presentation on immiscible liquids, oil and water.

Script (if my reading is really that bad to you):
Today, I will be going through a basic experiment about immiscible liquids. This is a really simple
experiment which anyone can do with just a few household items.

There are a few items you will need
first, and they are : oil, probably cooking oil, which is the easiest of find glass of water food coloring, probably a color which can be easily differentiated from oil. ive used a dark shade of green as you can see. pipette or syringe, up to you
. a very clear see through glass or plastic cup. i would recommend glass because its alot more see-through than plastic. i've used glass beakers and cups in my photos for the same reason as well Lastly, you will need ALOT of tissue. Believe me, you will.

Ok.
First up, you will want to add a few drops of food coloring into your beaker of water and mix well so that the
food coloring will be spread evenly through the water.

Next, pour about 50ml of oil gently ontop of the colored water.

If you're doing it gently enough, you should find that the oil does not mix with the water and rather floats
above it. This is because water is alot denser than oil, which being the less dense substance, will stay afloat
on top of the water. In my picture, you can see very clearly the layer of oil which is blue on top of the water,
which is pink.I've taken the photo with the negative effect on, so the oil and water can be color differentiated,
which makes it easier to see them.

So thats it for the experiment. I hope you had fun watching this video.
