Phillip Margolin's first book, Heartbreak (HarperCollins, 1978) was a breakout book -- it was the first of the legal thriller genre and was an instant best seller. Now he's got 14 books under his belt, and all on the New York Times best seller list. Meet him here on YouTube, with an excerpt from his 2007 interview on Ashland Mystery rvtv noir, with host Ed Battistella. Ashland Mystery is produced by the Ashland Mystery Readers Group, and in 2009 was sponsored by Bookwagon New and Used Books, Friends of the Ashland Public Library and Standing Stone Brewing Company.

  • I'm not that big on novels. From a slew of books upon shelves at walmart, for some reason i picked up Executive Privilege, and i'm very glad i did.

    His books are like movies!

Since Executive privilege, I've bought and read about 7 more books he's wriiten, the last one being 'Lost Lake', which was absolutely amazing!!!.

Your movies need to be on the big screen Phil.

I have about 6/7 more books on order at BarnsNnoble.

Can't wait for them to get here.
