  • @daffodyllady: If it is of any interest to you there is a naturopathic approach for nerve issues on my channel in the comment section.

  • Ugh I'm 23 and I've had it since I was 7 or so and I'm obviously here cuz it's what's keeping me up his fine evening... Or morning rather. Nothing works that I can think of. I get my boyfriend to massage my feet and it feels like they tingle even more and I end up kicking him... Lol I used to run track in high school and it seemed to happen more frequently then, but I recently read that extreme or rigorous exercise can fatigue the legs and cause it to become more prominent. I don't do so much e

I know what you mean about walking. I'm the kind of person who will walk till my legs fall off.

Make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals in your diet, then exercise for real. Walking doesn't cut it. Do squats, lunges, something demanding. This will work the buildup (lactic acid and the like) out of your muscles.

A good deep massage is just another way of doing this, but real exercise is the best. And the more you do it, the less uncomfortable it is to do.

  • @greytodd mr.todd..... grown ups say the most boring things..

  • nonsense!

  • @daffodyllady I'm 47, so I have had it for 32 years.

I have heard that smoking pot works.

Not ready to break the law yet.

  • Foot bath. lol.

I have had RLS since age 15. I have been on most of the meds available for it, and they stop working after a little while. Exercise? LOL. Try walking all night, for some exercise.

If I sit in a tub of steamy hot water for an hour, then it helps me to go to sleep. but I often have to get up 2 x a night to repeat.

I wish they could do brain surgery to zap that spasm center of my brain!

  • Actually everytime i get rls i wet my legs with really cold water or rub alcohol on my legs for bout 5 or so minutes and sometimes it really helps cause of the cold feeling i cant feel the ugly sensation and then when im done usually the ugly feeling is gone but this doesnt work always.

  • This may work for low level symptoms but is useless to people such as myself who have severe attacks many times each day. Deep tissue massage or vigorous pounding of the affected areas helps, especially if you have a partner who is willing to help.

  • I can stop RSL by masaging my thigh above the calf muscle that is problematic. If you press around your thigh with your thumbs you can usually find a muscle that feels like a tube, massage this tube like muscle and you may find that after about 10 minutes the tube is not so noticable and you leg will start to relax. Instant coffe, stress and overtideness play a large part for me.
