I had a Trout Tank set up it was a 30 gallon tank.

The temperature stayed under 70 there was no water chiller.
The Filter is a Marineland biowheel power filter 280.
The current is a Aquaclear Powerhead 30.

Overall The Trout was happy, the brookie is 6 3/4 inches long and was caught in a cemetary pond. This trout was the best fights i've ever had he jumped 3 times 2-3 feet of out the water before he came in.

Enjoy the video more to be uploaded soon.

  • Weekly water changes from well water

  • Its not so much as keeping the water cold its keeping the water moving and with great oxygen flow. Ive kept coho in 70 degree water and feed them cichlid bio gold.

  • @NaturalAngling Trout seem to stress out and died with high tempertures, but yes you are right oxygen will work wonders on the health and well being on the fish, the more the better

  • How do you keep the water temp down and what is the thing making the current in your tank

  • @bakerfish17 The current is a Aquaclear Powerhead 30, i had the tank in my basement in the video since then ive moved and now i cant keep the tank below 80

  • The powerhead kicks ass it was cheap off ebay and deff worth it.

I fed him june bettles, nightcrawlers, moths, tetra sinking granoles, tetra goldfish color enhancing flakes, its honeslty like having a shark in ur tank very entertaining.
