Turtle Tracks B8: Bones Tracks Day 8

This is the ongoing saga of "Bones" the Eastern Box Turtle. Through the magic of modern technology, glimpse into the life of a wild box turtle in its natural environment.Bones has moved 257 feet NNE of his day 7 position. I found him sitting on the surface of the ground in a small clearing in a Rhododenderon thicket. There was a rotting Pine stump nearby that may have been where Bones was headed for a meal.
