Their singing is sooooo broadway! They tell the actors to fully pronounce every word they say, which is why instead of saying "sayin" they say "saying" and a bunch of other things like that.

@EdwardNygma1 Honestly, to me it just takes time getting used to, instead of a 75% Rage, 25% Loved character like in the album, they chose more of a 75% Love, 25% Rage character. He is very reminiscent of his role as Moritz Stiefel in this show, and he wants to make it sound different, at least, that's what I think of it.

Ugh, not trying to offend anyone, but I hate this interpretation of Jesus of Suburbia.

The guy does not fit the bill, and I hate his singing of the song. The one who played Jesus of Suburbia in the music video, or Billie Joe Armstrong would have been much better. And why the hell did they name him Johnny? The vagueness of him not having a name was part of what made his character cool.
