People don't seem to realize that there are several kinds of "hippies" I happened to be a "river" hippie from Memphis, but there are many, kinds of people. The term hippie replaced "beatnik" which is what my dad was..a simple way of life promoting, peace, the pursuit of happiness and LOVE! The theatre of politics will never change, but I think we gave it the best punch in the arm Ever! And yes this great vinyl song makes me want to smoke a doobie to this day!! Rock on - never give up!

@MsSprog GOD BLESS THE HIPPIES. our music will never get old. but what a drag it is that we have to. but thats alright i still got my guitar. and i think it is so cool that some off the best music was writen by some of the highest people. rock and roll will never die.
