"This video for Beep was made by Pylon member Michael Lachowski in 1988 for the "Hits" compilation CD that was released on DB Records just as Pylon was reforming after a 5 year hiatus. The background for the video is a Super 8 film that Michael shot out of the van window in California on an early-80's tour. The inset video imagery was intended to be a "postcard" of the band and was culled from hours of low-qulaity VHS footage that was shot by the band and soundman Paul Butchart on various tours for Chomp. The hardware graphics were generated in 1988 for Hits. This video has been sitting fallow for a long time, and was recently prepared for digital distribution by Dan Aguar who combined a VHS video with the remastered audio that appears on Chomp More, released by DFA Records in October 2009."
